Shade multi-pass rendering and the Gimp
« on: February 02, 2012, 05:39:53 PM »
What is multi-pass? What is it for?

Here is a video tutorial explaining that and some other related things (like gamma correction inside Shade).

Why with the Gimp and not Photoshop?
Well, so anybody that uses Shade can benefit, even those without Photoshop (as the Gimp is free). And for those that do own Photoshop, you can still use what you learn here ;)

Anyway, I hope you like it.
